On Feb. 16th, the San Fernando Valley Business Journal (SFVBJ) hosted their annual "Women In Business" awards reception.
They honored 120 women who received the award during the last ten years. For 2011, 10 of those women were named the "Business Women of the Decade." L/B/W Insurance & Financial Services CEO Mitzi Like was among them. She was recognized for her "continued success and business savvy." L/B/W was also ranked #15 of 45 companies on the SFVBJ's list of the largest women owned businesses, due in part to Like's recent acquisition of neighboring Fortman Insurance.
