How to Contribute

Article guidelines:

The Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal accepts submissions from our business community for publication consideration. Articles should be 600 words, plus or minus 10 percent. They should appeal to a broad readership in the business community. Any columns that are purely self-promoting will not be published. All articles are subject to editing and to the approval of the editor. Suggested headlines are welcome but may not be used. Please accompany your submission with a high-resolution “mug” or “head shot”; low-resolution photos do not reproduce well. Send your articles to business@the-signal.com. Questions? People & Places:

The Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal welcomes notices about executive promotions, awards won, new businesses, new locations for established businesses, and other information of interest to the Santa Clarita Valley business community. Submissions should be sent to business@the-signal.com with “People & Places” in the subject field. High-resolution photos may be submitted along with text. All submissions are subject to editing and to the approval of the editor.

Out & About:

The Santa Clarita Valley Business Journal welcomes photos of local residents at business-related events for publication consideration in its Out & About pages. Photos should be high-resolution shots taken close up to people; distance shots do not reproduce well. Photos must be accompanied by identifications of each person pictured and information about the event, including date and location. All submissions are subject to editing and to the approval of the editor. Send your submissions for Out & About to business@the-signal.com. Include “Out & About” in the subject field.

Business Calendar:

To submit information about local business-related events to our Business Calendar, e-mail them to business@the-signal.com. Put “upcoming events” in the subject field.
